    1960 Windshield Wiper Arms

    Just unpacked another box...checked the windshield wiper arms and found this information TRICO - 2564819..They are aluminum..I checked with the judging manual on page 25 ..Can anyone help me out...More . If someone can send a pic and description ...Thanks

      The attached photos are from one of the wiper arms on my 1960. They are not original, but I believe that they are correct. I received no deduct on them at the Lone Star Regional last fall. The third photo shows the marking on the underside of the end of the arm. On the top side of the end of the arm; there should be a small round bump that engages a hole in the blade holder so it locks into place.

          is the arm part aluminum? it looks it from here. normally should be bright stainless I believe... you may get a deduct depending on the judge.

              The small piece that covers the back side of the arm is aluminum, but the remainder of the arm is stainless. I did not receive a deduct last year, but a new set of judges will look at it on Saturday.

                  yeah, the cover is stainless, the bayonet is shiny spring steel (also stainless?) and the base is chrome. Good luck on the judging field!

                      Here are pics of wipers that I have. 2 are aluminum, Trico brand, 2668725...The other single arm I bleieve is original...and has the information on the arm itself. I have 2 complete arms that are TRICO with the rubbers(12 inch)

                          The first one with a tag is not the bayonet type... it has the little circular pivot with a screw right? replacement per my understanding.
                          I can post pics later of a correct one I have. I'm still looking for another.
