Is it just me or it seems cork gaskets just ooz over a short period of time. Im almost convinced that no matter how much sealer you apply to oil pan gaskets ( or others) they will ooz no mater what. Maybe this is the nature of the beast and I need to get over it and live with it. Yes I am emoting now. I hate being wooped by the cork gasket. Same thing applies to the timing cover gasket. They are so thin oil bleeds thru with plenty of sealer applied. ( #3 aviation). The old timers they were never meant not to leak. I think Ill buy a brand new one. ( No way). Thanks for your opinion if any.
