67 AC passenger side horn questions

I read that for a AC car the bracket was shorten by 3/4 of a inch. did the horn have different part number for the bracket or did they modify it on the line. unfortunately dads 67 427 AC car came with non OEM horns.

A/C cars used the same production horns as non-A/C cars; the passenger side horn mounted differently, to a nut-plate bracket riveted to the back side of the front of the inner fender, with a separate ground wire. It's shown in your Assembly Manual in section C60, sheet B1.

Thanks John I knew all that so I guess where I read about the bracket being shorter was false
