I love old Gassers. How many restored top flight cars
were formerly Gassers? Here is my 57 as it appears now and
a photo taken back in the sixties as a drag car.

I love old Gassers. How many restored top flight cars
were formerly Gassers? Here is my 57 as it appears now and
a photo taken back in the sixties as a drag car.

Thanks for sharing Bruce. I love those old Vette drag cars. Noticed a couple of the pics were taken at my local dragstrip (your local dragstrip too I suppose?), i.e. Edgewater.

Sometimes I think the same thing, but then again It is probably faster today than it was then.
I has a very healthy 383 with a 411 rear now. Modern technology seems to trump old school.

The car ran numerous engine combinations during it's drag racing days. I don't know much about the ETs that the car ran, because the previous
owner passed away and I bought it from his widow. He owned the far for 42 years. The car ran at York US 30 and some Md. Drag strips.

You must have to very carefull not to light up the tires with the 383 - 411 setup.
