Where is Champaign in relation to Chicago and the current location ?

Champaign, Il. is north of Decatur, and south east of Bloomington. It's probably 170 miles south of the present location. Easy access from I74.

No matter where they move it, it could not be worse than Pheasant Run. What a dump!

I understand that their contract with Pheasant Run ends with the 2012 show. Pheasant Run is closer to us (Milwaukee) than Champaign--but you can't get to Pheasant Run from here--you have to go somewhere else first. (Difficult to access)

I've never been a huge fan of Pheasant Run but it will almost double the drive for me. Less access to the many "one day show" visitors in the Chicagoland area.

for those living in the south suburbs of chicago the drive time is not going to be much longer to get to champaign. 57 is a straight shot and a excellent road for a corvette. they will not have to deal with the toll roads and traffic conjestion in the city. this location will be a good move for most people.

I agree, I live 30 minutes from Pheasant run and I welcome the change. I think that this will be a good move for the show.

according to mapquest it looks like it will add 53mi for me.So I should be there 15min earlier without the traffic and minus the tolls I maybe able to buy more NOS parts
