    Choke Coil Spring

    I have a choke coil spring. When looking at it with the mounting hole in front and the stud in rear, the spring is goes in the clockwise direction. Is this correct for a 454? Thanks

      Assuming you're talking about a 454 WITH Q-JET CARB, this is what the choke thermostat should look like.
