My '69 L36 should ship late next week. I won't be reunited with it until Christmas.
One of the first jobs I have is to start putting the interior back to its original bright blue color. I did a bit of research and it appears that one obstacle is the seat covers. I have read that no one makes a seat cover that uses authentic Comfort Weave material for the inserts. The only choice is to buy good re-pop seat covers and a few yards of NOS comfort weave material. Then take the covers and material to a good upholstery shop and have them replace the inserts using the NOS comfort weave material. I also read that finding NOS Comfort Weave material is getting to be VERY difficult. Does anyone know of a source?
Thanx,
-Floyd-
