I just came across my 1970 AC PCV catalog and found conversion tables that convert the AC part number to the part number shown in the assembly manuals (not the Chevrolet parts catalog part numbers) and vice versa.
Unfortunately the part numbers are only what was available in 1970. Discontinued part numbers are not shown. The "Product Number" in the charts appear to be the same part number of the PCV valve as shown in the assembly manuals. I have added the GM part numbers from my vintage Chevrolet parts catalogs.
Examples:
CV726C = AIM # 6422294 = GM # 6422721 in Gr. 1.745
CV736C = AIM # 6484541 = GM # 6423695 in Gr. 1.745
CV746C = AIM # 6484699 = GM # 6484525 in Gr. 1.745
Unfortunately AIM #'s 6423438, 6424251, and 6483766 are not shown in the 1970 catalog as they were apparently discontinued. Does anyone have this same AC PCV catalog only dated 1966, 1967, or 1968?
