Setting Rivets in Door Posts
I need to install new window channels in my 1960 doorposts. I have the installation kit with the small screws and the small rivets. I know very little about setting rivets and could use advice. Once I place the rivet into the hole, do I cut off any of the rivet? How much of the rivet should be protruding?
I know that I need to hold a "buck" against the head of the rivet and then ping the other end. Please provide steps on how to do this as I don't want to break the door post.
