Question (again) for Ron Lovelace or other on Munci clock

    OK,
Now that I messed that up, here are the pictures I forgot to post in the other thread I just posted of the Munci 4 speed in my May of 67 coupe. Now you will further under stand why I was confused about what the clock says.
I think the date may be wrong here for my car.

      John,
Thanks, what does the under lined 9 mean, 1969?

Dom -- the underline of the number is to show that it' a "9" (rather than an upside-down "6"). This large number is just the casting mould number; one of several being used at any one time. I've seen mould numbers as high as 13 in the '69+ timeframe.

But something's screwy with the assembly date in June, and the casting month/week (ie the small 2 and the two dots = 2nd week of February).

Here's two examples whose month/week is in general agreement with the assembly stamp. The P0211 is off of Corvette 6S1140xx, and casting "clock" shows "1" with 3 or 4 dots [ie. near the end of January].
