I got my Raised Brown Letter tires replaced this past weekend. The letters on my relatively new raised letter white tires were turning brown. I tried numerous cleaning and whitening products to no avail. I learned through the TBD that this problem is called blooming and it is irreversible. It occurs when the unprotected white letters come in contact with the blackwall of another tire. Armed with the information from previous threads and few phone calls, I was able to get the tires replaced at no charge.
If you purchase new tires, be sure that they have a protective gel type coating on them or you may experience the same problem.
