Hi Guys,

Very good information in this thread that actually does clear up a lot of rumors I've heard throughout the years.

To add to the conversation - I have been installing the below Milodon Thermostat in all cars I touch. The thing is bullet proof. All of my cars (BBC and SBC) run cooler.

That's a re-packaged Robertshaw #330 balanced-flow thermostat, also re-packaged and sold by Mr. Gasket.

i use these and one thing i have noticed in vehicles with HD cooling systems like my 2500 silverado in cold weather i must cover part of the rad to get the temp up. work great in the heat of summer even pulling a trailer in very hot weather
