    Maybe I will live long enough to do the decedent estate appraisals and sell the parts at an auction. Whoopee! That auction would be a barn burner Whadddayabid? $1,000 to start now $2,000......

      Hi Jim,

      I would gladly pay a fair price for a pair of NOS GM Corvette small-block motor mounts with good rubber, whether part number 3886466, 3990916 or 6258154

        I'm quite sure that it won't happen while I'm in charge.

        However, I will install TJ2 front fender louver trim on a certain Riverside Gold 1969 if it isn't running when the baton passes. Maybe N14 too.

          Patrick------

          You'll have to come up with those TJ-2 louver trim and N-14 pieces somewhere else. You won't find a single one of those in the collection. Not in the past, not now, and not even on the day I die. And, beware: if any of those pieces end up on that 1969, I'll haunt you forever!

          P.S. The 1969 is VERY, VERY close to being done.

              I keep mine in boxes on the lower shelves in order to provide heavy weight at the base so I can pile all the yard maintenance stuff on the upper shelves - I think. My stuff is a lot from back in the day and each piece has a memory connected with it. Some people look at boxes of old pictures, I just pull out my old parts and remember. I think I found a place for the Hays "stinger" ignition kit (w/decal) I have. Friend out in California. Be great to know someone can get some use out of it.

                It can't be! Joe, you better post pictures when you take it for that first spin.

                          John...I've prefered a nice "A" above the "T"s for most of my adult life. I've determined that ample "T"s most often come with an over abundent "A". So much infact that it just ruins the whole thing for me.

                            John and Tracy;

                            If you are referring to what I think you are - shame on you. It takes a dirty mind to detect another dirty mind, so they say.

                            Back to parts.

                              The only parts that I "hoard" are hard-to-find replacements in case of an accident on the roads or mechanical failures. Anything after any of those events and I'm SOL. I applaude Joe Lucia and others for stockpiling parts. Either they keep them and we have an idea who has them or they fall into the hands of unscrupulous dealers on other Web sites. Then none of us could afford them anyway. So, I would rather NCRS members have stockpiled parts than be held hostage to high priced pirates.

                                If this years Corvette Carlisle is any indication of what the future holds for our parts, etc I would say there isn't that much to worry about.
                                Interest in our hobby is still strong but I do find one thing that bothers me.
                                Some guys are down on NCRS as they brought some POC to a show and got blown away. So naturally it's our fault.
                                Seriously the hobby is making a major comeback. I notice a fair of amount of the younger generation getting involved also. By younger I mean late 30's early 40's.
                                On the other hand with so many of my old Corvette buddies dying lately it has made me think that it's time for the older guys to start unloading all the crap they have been hording for an eon.
