Mike unveiled this 57 Corvette last month at a club event Mid America hosted. It was a nice surprise to all of us in attendance.

I see that the 57 is still on the trailer, it was on, when put in the barn.
Sunk in the dirt floor.

Yes, Mike said all they did to it was air the tires up on the car and trailer, chased the varments out from around it, and loaded it on a flatbed. 35 years of dirt (minus whatever blew off trailering it to MAM) is still on it. Last I heard they're waiting until Funfest to wash it.

When I first laid eyes on my '67 convertible in the Kansas barn she had sat in for close to 30 years, I could not tell the paint color. It was coated in about a quarter inch of farm road dust, topped off with pigeon poop.

The barn is a two edged sword. It helps the car survive decades of no wreck damage, lower mileage etc., ........ yet takes quite a toll on finishes, interior, etc.
