    1962 Transmission case

I have found a T-10 transmission case dated August 9th of '61. Is this a legitimate date for my 1962 Corvette built November 10th of '61? Asking price is $200 plus shipping from Texas. I could take the innards from my '60 T-10 and put them in the '61. I hate to do that but it is one of my options. hmmmmm, decisions, decisions!

Yes it is, I believe the window is actually 6 months, but I'm sure someone will verify this.

It should be fine. My 62 was built Nov. 3 rd and the trans case is Oct. 61

Case date seems OK for your car....but be prepared for what you may find inside your tranny when doing the swap.....T10 parts aren't cheap.
