    58 trunk latch

What is the trick to getting the back clip on which holds the lock in place at the trunk, any special tools or small people? Thanks, Brad.

if the thickness of the fiberglass surrounding the lock hasn't been increased(bondo etc), the clip usually slip right over the lock cylinder if the clip is lubricated. get it started with your fingers, then if necessary, use a long bladed screw driver to drive it into its seated position. i use a thin film of vaseline on both sides of the clip( where it'll contact the fiberglass and where it seats on the lock cylinder housing. good luck, mike

Used the trusty dremel and cutting disc to trim a little of the ear off and it slid right in. Thanks again, Brad.
