To paraphrase Churchhill, it's not the "beginning of the beginning", or "beginning of the end", but maybe it is "the end of the beginning".
It seems the rest of the "bailout" is secured by ownership of the company...approximately 61% owned by the federal government. A public offering is planned later this year. Once the taxpayers get their money back, hopefully with a profit, we will be able to put this awful chapter behind us, and still be able to buy American.
