64 hinge pillar weatherstrip
The AIM shows a one piece w/s #3838309-10 for convertible. However two things confuse me. 1) I see NOS GM part #3899385-86 available. Was this a superceeded # or for a different year model? I suppose it would work fine except it's only punched for two holes, not four like described in the TJG. 2) My current application is part #3829419-20. Was this possibly a 63 application? I have an early 64 but can not say it's original to the car. It was removed when painted over long ago by a PO. So the real question is should I proceed with #3899385-6 and get judged fairly? Thanks
