before I order this piece of weather strip is it what I think it is?

Wanting the weather strip piece of rubber on the rear of my convertible top that sites on the top of my deck lid. The original one is somewhat hard and wants to mar the new paint a little so I haven't been fully latching the rear of the top down.

is this the new piece I need? I would assume this is it but before I order..

They make a clear guard that you can put down to protect the paint.........

Brandon, why not phone Paragon and find out for yourself? You know, use a hand held communications device and speak with a Paragon rep who deals with such questions daily. Everything is not best done on-line.
          Best regards,

              Best regards,
Good advice ALL of us can use Charlie.

In what order do the instructions on a correct cover read? I'm looking at a cover that does have the correct wording on the two areas; however, the owner thinks the cover is incorrect. TIM&JG was inconclusive.

When viewing the cover with long dimension left to right, the left buldge has "Service" and "With" appearing in the NW and NE quadrants respectively. "Delco" and "Parts" appear in the SW and SE quadrants respectively. All lettering is oriented "right side up". Owner thinks lettering should be continuous around the circle, e.g. "Service" & "With" as above but with "Delco" in SE quadrant and upside down, "Parts" in SW quadrant upside down as viewed.
              Comments?

              Thanks and best regards,
              Charlie"
Charlie, why not phone someone like Paragon or this site here which sells exact to original master cylinder caps http://www.cssbinc.com/1967-82corvet...68-72cars.aspx and find out for yourself? You know, use a hand held communications device and speak with Paragon or someone at the site listed above and talk with a rep who deals with such questions daily. Everything is not best done on-line.
              Best regards,
              Brandon
