    C3-1971: Grille Paint - Overspray???

    I've cleaned the front grilles on my 71. I'm not expert but I believe they are original to the car. As I was cleaning the chrome fins, I notice that a few of them have grey overspray on them. Originally, I thought it was 39 years of road grime, but it is overspray. Is this common on original front grilles from the factory?
