    '61 Rear window protector mohair

On 1961 what is the correct placement of the rear window "mohair" that goes on the gas tak cover? The one I received form Paragon does not extend the full length. Do I just "center" it? What about front to back - where does it go?

Also for Carpet, is there supposed to be any underlayment or pad, other than what comes on the carpet itself?

I cannot find it in the AIM or Judging Guide. I would center it side to side, and then make sure it covers front to back properly to protect the resting canvas of the soft top when in the stored position. I also use a soft teri cloth towel rolled up length wise to protect the clear rear window vinyl.
