    WCFB Carb Identification

I need to know what carburetor application this is, if possible. The top is a 6-1672 and the body number is a D1517. Any guesses as to what the application might be? It is said to be the primary carb with choke for a dual quad system, but I'd really like to find out what it actually is. I was also told it might be for an early 60's system.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    Re: WCFB Carb Identification

Could the body be a "0" 1517 instead of a "D" 1517 ?? That would be for a 1960 Corvette I believe. The 6-1672 should be for 63 to 65 ?? I'm sure no carb expert, so I hope one chimes in for you.

      Tom,

Thanks for the input. I think it is a "0". Your guess sounds like it could be accurate, but it could be that it is just a Chev passenger car application and not for Corvette. More defitive info woudl still be nice to get.

      Thanks,
