'61 Brakes
I am looking at the rear brakes on my '61. I will probably need new drums. The current drums have the number 3752623. Where is the best place to get a replacement?
Secondly, the existing brake springs for both the primary and secondary brake shoe springs are gray. There is no mention of color in the ST-12, so I checked the Chevrolet service manual and that indicates there should be two different springs.
The secondary spring is listed as a black spring rated at 50lbs. The primary shoe spring is a gray spring rated at 40 lbs. The repo house sells a spring kit but both springs are gray.
What would be correct?
