I drove down to Columbus from Akron Ohio Thursday to preview the auction and see some old friends. Just as I pulled into McDormam's the car started running rough. Long story short I had burned a plug wire at the cap. Called 3 parts stores, no cap, no single wire. Finally a gentleman overheard my situation and offered me the number of Floyd's Hot Rod Shop
in Groveport, three miles from McDorman Chevrolet. Called Bill the owner and was told if I could get to his shop he would fix me up. Took the car over, he pulled the cap, checked for cracks, cut my wire and put a new end on it, and sent me on my way and would not take a dime for his trouble. Drove from there to Sandusky Ohio and she purred like a kitten all the way. Nice to know there are still people like Bill around. So if you are ever near Columbus Ohio and need help, call Floyd's Hot Rod Shop and ask for Bill. Stop in if you are near as he has about 6 or 7 projects going on all the time. One last irony, his shop is in the original McDorman Chevrolet building.
