I wonder if you placed the card on a block of Dry Ice and tried to brush the sand off while the adhesive is chill'n out. You might even put a piece of wax paper between the card and the ice just to make sure the card stays dry.

Everyone seems to have ignored your mirror question. I have noticed in more "original" pictures (promos and things) that mirror is in that "down" position more than the "up" position. I have starting driving with my mirror in the down position. Wish some of the original owners would comment on whether it was a matter of preference or one way or the other.

They only look like that once. What a great photo. I'd love to have a photo of my car right after it arrived at the dealership. As a matter of fact, I'd just like to know where my car was initially delivered from the factory. Nice photo.
