    Lower Radiator Hose Identification

    Hello,
Can someone id this hose for me?
    Is it original GM?
What would be the correct year and application?
    Thanks!

    1968 lower hose w/ac exc. 427

That's the GM logo and part number.

Probably original GM but may be service part and not factory installed.

      Thanks JR.

Would a original 68 hose only have the GM part number?

        Brian,

No, originals and service replacements have the part number. There may be no difference in the two but you can't prove that by me.

I would not be surprised if close inspection showed a date code that wasn't a 1968 date.

            Patrick,
I gave the hose a close inspection and could not find anything other than the GM part # and other numbers. What does the other string of numbers and letters mean?
