In my previous post I informed that a loose/dirty solenoid plug caused my TCS to deliver full vacuum when it should not have.
While I'm convinced that was one problem, I still experienced brief periods of inappropriate full vacuum afterwards.
Nothing seemed to be wrong, but then I remembered an article on my Restorer CD in which the author reported that his TCS relay was being grounded via the housing and/or screws into the wiper grille bracket, which caused the relay to not deliver a positive signal to the solenoid.
Well, I checked and that was happening to mine too on occassion, and completely isolating the relay housing and screws with sealant and little gaskets solved the problem ... for good I hope!
