69 Oil Pressure Line and Bracket?

    Two questions please:
Is the oil pressure line bracket and bolt that attaches to the head painted engine color or natural?

Is the metal part of the oil pressure line bent or straight when it is installed? I know they come straight, but I thought that once installed they were curved up to the bracket??? Is there a picture anywhere of proper setup? Okay I guess that's three questions.
    Thanks!

I assume (and I know that is a bad word) you are asking about a big block.

I have seen that bracket natural and black, but never orange. Have you looked in the AIM to see if it went on at St. Louis or Tonawanda? If it went on at St. Louis there is no way it could be orange.

I don't know how the metal line could be straight given where the oil line fitting is on the block and where it slips into the bracket.

Terry, yes you assume correctly, a 427. Thank you for the reply.
Are you aware as to how the metal section of the line is bent?
Is it a curve upward, or circular bend like a brake line?
The reproduction line I have seems way too stiff to bend by hand without kinking. Is a line bending tool used?

        Hi Jamie

For demo purposes, assume the box is the rear of the drivers head.

The oil line bracket is zinc plated. It is bent upward at about 50 degrees.
        Bolt should be gray phosphated.
Where my thumb is holding the bracket the hole is where bolts goes through.
You see the top slit. that is where the line goes through held on with 2 brass fittings.
This oil line bracket is NOS GM
        Hope this helps

          Grant, Great pic! Thanks!
Any input on how the metal part of the line should be bent???
          Curve? Coil? S bend?

Got the Spring, thanks! Already blasted and refinished.

Thanks should go to Ralph, the car's owner. I just posted the picture for him.

BTW: I looked it up, and Ralph's car is Q11, December 11, 1969. Not quite as late as I thought. Nonetheless, it does have some interesting features -- for another thread, another time.

                  Well thank you Ralph also!
Terry, my car is P20 just a few weeks ahead of Ralph's. I could probably collaborate some of those same late features.
