Re: thoughts on this 67?
Hi Brandon
I commend you for taking a prudent approach BEFORE buying.
I am always skeptical of a car presented as "Totally Restored".
Unfortunately this typically indicates improperly done with incorrect parts
with emphasis on "Shiney".
This may be a "Standup" car, but, a viewing is an absolute necessity.
At a glance, FWIW, I look at the small details. For example it is so easy to obtain some of the correct or accurately acceptible replacement parts rather than just thow on a part or a finish.
For instance the restorer spent some additional effort to paint the dipstick tube bright red, when originals were just natural steel. Same with bolt finishes and wire colors.
A notched fan belt was installed when full judging credit S/R's are readily available and reasonably priced.
With these miscues on simple items, it raises skepticism on what level of expertise was applied to the "Big Stuff"
Incidentally, I didn't see the assembly stamp data listed.
Again, if cars are out of your travel zone, find someone to look it over for you.

Re: thoughts on this 67?
Well, the best news probably is that it's a smallblock, but as Mike mentioned, the few details you can see in the engine compartment do not indicate the level of detail required for a "Restoration" (Too nice in places, just plain incorrect in others) but on the other hand, nothing that stands out and says "run! don't walk, away". Probably worth a look if you are after a smallblock convert.Bill Clupper #618- Top

Re: thoughts on this 67?
well I'd perfer a 67 427 vert 4sp..but I'm starting to accept that I don't need to put that kinda cash into a car right now..this one is in more of my ball park.
I love the color and atleast it's the 350hp version so I'm giving it some thought.- Top
