I am using the internals and center bearing retainer to build a T-10-C for my 1961. The bearing retainer has two threaded holes, needed for the cast iron main case. The aluminum main case has additional ears with threads. I plan on drilling out the aluminum retainer so that the threads of the bolts will secure in the aluminum main case. Does anyone see a problem with this? Are there any other concerns about using an aluminum C main case with parts from a B cast iron case?
Thanks for any information!
