62 Body to Steel Riveting - Need Help

    62 Body to Steel Riveting - Need Help

    Does or has anyone ever replaced the left/right hand steel supports running under the doors? I have already removed the old rusted ones, rivets, etc. and replaced the steel door to dash supports. The trick seems to be in finding a way to accomplish the riveting
    -fiberglass to steel- using the 3/16" aluminum rivets, with little to no room under the sill, with the steel support in place. Help?
