C1 Body Jig

Hello all...I am looking to build a body jig for a C1. Does anyone have dimensions? I have the frame dimensions from the Service Manual. Thanks

Shawn,

If you will do a search on Dolly you will find numerous posts about building, buying, borrowing body dollies.

One or many of them will either answer all of your questions, or create questions you hadn't even thought of.

I made a body fixture out of used aluminum square stock. I used the dimensions from the C-1 frame and made the radiator mount adjustable vertically. I used body shims to align for body gaps. I remounted the body on to the frame to check the body gaps after repairs and everything look good. I also installed larger wheels than the ones in the picture. I can roll it around the shop with no help.
