1960 Corvette Motor on Corvette Forum
Here is the post on the Corvette forum for a 1960 Corvette 283 motor for sale. If anyone knows the owner of the car, I'm sure they would love to find this motor. I checked the C1 registry and the car right after this one is listed, but not #6396.
Engine Value
I would like to know value of a 283 short block, #3756519 date code C70 3/7/60. Stamped on the pad is 106396 F03I5CU. Cylinders have what appears to be a fresh 40 over bore. Short block includes pan, crank, rods, pistons.

If you could find the original car that it came in, it would be worth a lot to that owner. The block came out of a 60 corvette with dual quads, 270Hp. Car #6396. Otherwise I would estimate the value between $300 to $500.00 Just my 2 cents... Thanks
