    1960 Rear View Mirror Base

    I believe I have the 61-62 style service replacement mirror assembly. Is the mirror base different from the original base used in a 1960 ? Where the mirror screws into the base the JM drawing looks less pointy than my base.

    I bought a correct original mirror but need to know if I can use my base.
