Hi guys,
I have a1970 L46. The radiator overflow tube is supposed to go through a clip attached to the radiator tank. I have the clip but it was installed backwards and not being used. The tube goes first to the side wall of the engine compartment through a plastic strap that looks original. It then goes down next to the lower radiator inlet. I would like to confirm the proper routing for this tube but can't find it clearly in the chassis service manual. Using the clip as described in the JG doesn't really fit very well as the tube would be pressed tight between the lower inlet and the radiator tank and fan shroud. It fits better as it is. Could it be correct?
Anyone with an original L46 or LT1 that has pics?
Thanks,
Greg
