    67 Jack Lid decal location.

Does anyone have a picture or can describe a typical layout of all the stickers required on the underside of the rear lid cover on a 1967.

If I understand this correctly there should be the following:

    1. Jack Instruction sticker.
    2. Positraction sticker (if applicable).
    3. J. P. Stevens sticker (specific to car).
    4. Carpet inspection sticker ?????????? Not sure if this is required?

    Thank you!

    Ralph,
tip the cover up, front to back to expose the underside.
    Jacking - Right (D/S)
    Pos - below it
    Carpet Label - Lower Left
Inspection sticker - usually mid-left, could be anywhere at any juxtipositon.
Vette Views Fact Book and Noland's book both have the shot you are looking for.

If you order the stickers from Long Island corvette they supply the locations of them. Phil 8063

Attached is my original April 67 jack board cover and Jacking Instructions.

The jacking instructions you purchase are not exactly like the originals.. some fonts vary.

Ralph; this is a org. jack board is out of my very late 67 (23 June 67) The board is dated 5-1-67. You can also see that the jacking instructions are upside down to the other info. So I think stickers were just put on at random? Bill

            Bill -

Not unusual - as the JG notes, "label placement was inconsistent....."

I'll buy into that one, John! Plus, the JP Stevens label was applied by JP Stevens and on the jack board when it arrived at St. Louis. The other labels were added by Chevy and I've seen MORE THAN ONE original car where the JP Stevens label was either partially or completely covered over by others... So, when I judge interior, I'm not a 'stickler' for the carpet label HAVING to be present and clearly readable!

                Bill,
I also have a late built 67, June 17th (Friday) or June 19th (Monday) and the date on my jack board is 5-15-67. Interesting miscellaneous stuff.
