I Bought the '56!
Just an update to those out there that gave some input as I discussed my potential purchase of a 56 or 57 Corvette a couple of months ago. Quite frankly, I agonized over the decision. I appreciate the input and advice. As the title reads, I bought the 56 and am looking forward to the project of bringing life back to a car that was "partially restored" and in boxes for the past 30 years. It is an original cascade green car with beige coves, with both tops... a very late model, coming off the line in September of 1956. Should be a lot of work and satisfaction. I'm in no hurry.
I look forward to the discussions ahead and will look for advice from all of the experts out there. Now I can let the 66 big block rest (I'm close to bringing it to a top flight) and drive it while I focus on the C1. My wife will definitely be happy about that!
