My coupe probably isn’t the only one to have one (or more) of these pinchwelt cap screw holes stripped out to the point where the little screw just doesn’t grab enough material. I have removed the quarter trim panels to get to the back side of the B pillar, and I am considering using epoxy to permanently bond this little speed nut to the back side of the B pillar where the tip of the screw comes through. What are some other methods I should consider to provide some threads for a stripped out screw hole in this location? Please bear in m ind that I do not want to go to a larger size screw; I want to keep the same size screw. Thanks in advance.
