1965 Power Brake & Clutch Pedal Pads

Trying to confirm what the original 1965 power brake and clutch pedal cover pads actually look like.
    AIM part numbers are:
    - power brake pad: GM #3790372 (with manual transmission)
    - clutch pedal pad: GM #6256368
My '65 Technical Info & Judging Guide (6th edition) does not have pictures of them . . .
If possible, would somebody be kind enough to post pictures of both original pads for me . . .

    Ray: Missed you last week.

I assume Muncie four speed from the numbers above.. Corvette central says they have the repro.which is "correct". It has the words POWER BRAKE molded in. Clutch pedal has no such words on it. Somewhere CC has a photo of two diff. PB pedals. I can photo my red car if needed. (same repro as below)

        Tom,
Thanks for the Corvette Central power brake pedal pad photo and indicating that it’s an exact repro of the original part number 3790372…..
Am I to assume that the Corvette Central clutch pedal pad part number 6256368 is also an exact repro?

          Ray: Yes.

Take a look at CC number 382010 on Corvette Central dot com. They have a dual pad comparison photo under that number also. It's the clutch pedal pad, and they claim is more correct too.

I don't know when these "better repros" came about. I also don't know who is still offering the first version, if anyone...

Here are pictures of the power brake pad that is on my unrestored '65 coupe. The first two installed on the car, and the next four are of the same pad removed. This pad had been on the car since approximately 1978 when my dad repainted the car, installed new front carpets and did some minor maintenance. I also took some pictures (with CC logo and Delco a/c parts in the background) of a pad I have in my stash of NOS parts that were my dad's. At that time, my dad had a collection eight(8) C2 Corvettes, mostly all of them low mileage, unrestored, original cars. He had a habit of buy two or three of everything when it came to GM NOS Corvette parts. Back then, Paul our small town Chevrolet dealer parts man would look up the GM part numbers my dad wanted/needed and ordered them. Part number on both pads is 3790372 with the number 13 and the netters TMCS. The ridge at the side edges of my pads are not a pronounced as the CC repro pad.

            Edit #1
I added pictures of the clutch pedal pad off the same car. GM part number 6256368 with the numbers 2 0 and the letters TMCS.

            Edit #2
As a Gary Beaupre replied, these may be a repro from Terry Michaelis.

            Hope these help.

              James,

I’ve always understood that pedal pads with the TMCS embossing on the back side were repros made by Terry Michaelis Corvette Supply. Same Terry Michaelis of ProTeam fame.

                Gary,

They could very well be then. The spare pad from my parts box was not label or in an GM packaging. I need to go check my '64 and see what it has for pads.

James, the repo pads are very soft compared to the GM pads, and it's not because of age.
Gary is right on the TMCS being the repo pads that Terry made long ago.
Terry's molds for the repo pads were on, or are on ebay.
                  Good luck, Bob Jorjorian
