1956 Parking brake handle shaft - correct shaft configuration
I've got 3 different shafts that have different configurations.
Which one is correct for '56? Or is one of these not correct either?
Does it even matter?

A is 18" long; 5 13/16" from end to center of first hole (1/8" dia); 6 15/16 from end to beginning of notches; 29 notches; overall length of notches 7 3/16"; 3 7/16" from last notch to center hole (1/8" dia) for the handle
B is 18 1/4" long; 6 3/8" from end to center of first hole (1/8" dia); 7 5/8" from end to beginning of notches; 27 notches; overall length of notches 6 3/16"; 3 7/16" from last notch to center of hole (1/8" dia) for the handle
C is 18 1/8" long; 5 7/8" from end to center of first hole (1/8" dia); 7 1/16" from the end to beginning of notches; 27 notches; overall length of notches 6 11/16"; 3 15/15" from last notch to center of hole (1/8" dia) for the handle
