I took these off the doors before paint and now I would like to put them back on . Do any of you know what kind of glue I can use that won't eat the paint underneath . Thanks in advance Jeff

I had my 67 painted last year and put new emblems on. But if you want to use the originals I would try the weatherstripping glue

I used doubled sided tape that I got from a friend that manages a body shop. As I recall, it was very thin film that was a pain to peel but it worked and you can't see it along the edges. Don

3M Adhesive Transfer Tape. It behaves like a double-sided, but is just the adhesive without any core substrate. It's very thin but also very tenacious. I'll have to look up the type # I use and will post later -- it's #465. (3M makes a number of different mil thickness versions of the tape.)

Helped a friend years ago and he used two adhesives, the 3M double sided as mentioned and also 3M spray adhesive.

I removed and reinstalled the original foil stickers
8 used contact cement on both surfaces and adhered perfectly
Dont use repops as the color is off and not correct
