1973 Owner's Packet
An update for INTERIOR Page 52 3rd Edition 2018. Minor corrections suggested.
#7 Tire Warranty Booklet.
In 1973. Firestone or Goodyear Tire Warranty Booklet was included. That is the only reference made.
To be more specific, we should add a photo copy of the two different manufacturers booklets and reference the part numbers. That would be consistent with the other items in the owner's packet we call out.
The Firestone Warranty Booklet, which I have a copy of, is part number: S-7600.
I'm certain Goodyear had a booklet for it's Steelgard Tires and it probably has a different part number.
#8 Maintenance Schedule
Both years came with a Chevrolet Passenger Car Maintenance Schedule, part number 6259669, (See Fig. I 12.21)
Figure I 12.21 is for a 1974 passenger Car and you can't really read the part number or revision.
The 1973 Maintenance Schedule, which I have a copy of, is stamped part number 6259669 "B".
There must have been a revision "A" for part number 6259669. May be issued late 1972 or for early production 1973's.
My '73 was one of the last one's built in July and delivered to the dealer and serviced Aug 3, 1973. Not sure when revision A part number 6259669 was issued? Best if we just note, there were two different editions in 1973. Only rev B in 1974. Or was it C.
