M20 shifter insert does not fit
Hello!
After 6 years I dropped the body back onto the frame. Today I wanted to insert the shifter insert (not sure what the correct name is).
However, it does not drop in as it should. The attached picture shows that the top part is way too high, the thread should be completely free. Neither the assembly nor the service manual gave a hint on what could be wrong.
Currently the reverse gear is active and I cannot change into any forward gear.
