Trying to ID My Seat Belts

The seat belts are on my '67.
I'm sure they are not the originals, but trying to ID them.
The week 11 looks correct, the car is a March 27 build date.

Any thoughts? Also, about what would the judging deduct be for belts like this.

    Thanks

Attached are original 67 seatbelt photos... Not sure but I believe the area inside the Chev logo on the buckle would be a blue/green color rather than black....maybe some one will chime in.......The car is an April build date.

Re: Trying to ID My Seat Belts

        Thanks, Stephen, Patrick,

The back of my buckle looks exactly like the original picture except for the 4 numbers, the front should be a blueish color inside the logo, and the tag looks original except for the slightly different wording.

So, I don't know if its original , or a service replacement, a non GM reproduction, or maybe from a different year Corvette.

Wayne, any specific reason you think your belts are not original? if the belts, left/right, match each other, have the correct webbing, correct stitching at the ends etc. then my opinion would be they are original to the car.... face it; how many sets off black belts were provided by the vendor to GM in 1967.... a lot. Were they all exactly the same (being handmade etc.) probably not...

Good point, thanks. They possibly could be original, but the blue inside the logo, and the wording on the tag cast some doubt.

I don't have access to my car right now and I don't have a photo of the buckle for reference. The memory isn't all that great either..... SOoooooooo maybe you have the correct color on the logo....

I just checked the 67 Tech Manual and Judging Manual. All your questions are answered on pages 41 & 42. The logo color in the photo is blue. Rule of thumb: "If all else fails, look in the reference book"

                Stephen,
I looked at the JM, it got me confused. It says buckle backs [some?] have 'HAMILL RFC-65" on them, like the one I have pictured. But most of the research I've done shows the buckle back as mine and your pic shows.

So, maybe there were a few different types, and you are right, they were not all exactly the same.
