77 driver's side sport mirror remote
I am trying to remove the mirror and remote on my 77 restore project. After removing the mirror I was surprised to see the poor workmanship done mounting that mirror. I am sure the door is original. Is it possible the remote mirror was added later?
Anyway, I am having problems in removing the remote control. I cannot slide it through the hole because the inner door panel and the hole in the fiberglass body don't quite line up. It looks difficult remove the cables from the remote. I appreciate any suggests that anyone has.

Can anyone tell me why my photos are rotated after attaching.
