I have the window crank stem out of the clutch housing. The stem has a coil spring that goes inside the clutch housing. It has tangs that hold it in place. When I try to put it back into the clutch housing, it won't go all the way in. One of the coils hangs out, and that means it drags on the regulator. I had it in once with the coil hanging out, and the cranking motion drags about 1/2 of the full turn. Does the round coil belong all the way in the housing? Anyone deal with this? Drive gear & teeth are fine.
