340hp air cleaner differences

I happen to have two 340hp air cleaners and they both are pretty much identical except for one attribute.
Their are dimples in the lower half and they differ in contour. One is closer to round and isn't defined. The other which is more of a rectangle in outline and is much better defined.
I am posting pictures of both.

One cleaner base on top the other for comparison.







One could be a reproduction but I doubt it.
Any one else have and air cleaner(s) to compare?

Rich I run my 340 SHP with the Repro,there is a big difference in the original and Repro. The weight on the Repro is much lighter.

My guess is two different suppliers. If one is a repro you would know because as mentioned the repro's are so thin you can cut yourself on the edges
