WA3150 Paint Code Formula Needed (Sebring Silver)

Does anyone have the paint formula for this using RM Diamont Paint code A5890 or original GM Code WA3150?

It's for Sebring Silver 63

I'm finally tearing that POS Front Clip that I had put on in 2002 off and putting a new one on. We're going to blend it in the doors and use one of those "machines" to match existing paint color since it was painted so long ago. I'm just curious to compare what they come up with to the original formula in advance or how far off it is.

None of the colors or binders are available today that are referenced in the mixing formula. I will say this, it is almost 80% binders and clear from what I can remember. It does not hide very well, be sure and use the same color primer that was used when the car was painted before

The large aluminum flake that was used in Sebring Silver has not been available since circa 1964/5.

The only chance to find the correct Sebring Silver is to find a quart in some paint store on the shelf. It has happened believe it or not!

I'm not trying to find original paint or the large aluminum flake. I'm not repainting the entire car, just attempting to match the color that was put on 17 years ago which was RM Diamont Base Coat Clear Coat A5890 or original GM Code WA3150. This is Sebring Silver...today's formula and what's available. If you walk into a Paint Store and ask them for GM Code WA3150, they have it and will sell you the paint but won't give you the formula.

John, The new Diamont Paint code for Base/Clear is 5890. The A is for Acrylic Lacquer so it is dropped. Anyway, below is the current Diamont formula for 1 qt size.
