I have my original 1968 fiberboard jack compartment storage tray which is in pretty good condition for it's age. As the pictures show there's no clearance notch for the latch and no date or other markings which is correct for my early April car. My concern is with the flocking , is there an easy way to restore or re apply this material or is there a service that restores them ? I haven't looked at a lot of original cars and wondered if most owners restored or left them alone? Rich

Re: 1968 Jack Compartment Tray
You can re-flock them, or have them done.
However, for 1 condition point I'd leave that one alone.Vice-Chairman (West), Michigan Chapter NCRS

Re: 1968 Jack Compartment Tray
FWIW, I restored mine a few years back. I captured the work in an article and it was published in The NCRS Restorer Magazine. If you don't have it, PM me and I'll help you best I can.
Hope this helps...Don Lowe
