Big block expansion tank repair
Last night I took the car for a ride and after parking found a nice sized puddle of anti-freeze when i returned to it. When I got it home I found that it's leaking from one of the elbows on the bottom of the tank. I'm taking the tank out this morning so I haven't seen the leak up close but I'm confident that I can make the repair since I've been working with copper and brass for 30 years. I know I should be using a lead based solder, is 50/50 OK or is there a specific solder that is best for radiator repair? Thanks!!
